HISTORY

The Harvard Independent is the only undergraduate weekly on the college campus. Since its founding in 1969, it has been dedicated to providing students with a printed outlet for their opinions and concerns.

READERSHIP

The Harvard Independent is placed in locations accessible by faculty, staff, incoming freshmen, administrators, alumni, graduate students, and Cambridge residents. The print edition has approximately 8,000 readers weekly. The Independent is also widely read online at www.harvardindependent.com, with approximately 60,000 pageviews in the past month.

CLASSIFIEDS

The Independent offers classified advertising in its print editions for Harvard students and those who want to advertise to them. We charge $2.00 for up to the first three lines of text, and $1.00 per line after that, up to a total of 8 lines including the first three (at $7.00). As this is our most affordable advertising option, we are unable to apply any discounts to classified ads.

GRAPHICS

Resolution of ad graphics must be at least 72 ppi. Graphics are due 24 hours prior to set date of display. For a small fee, the Independent can put together the graphics for an advertisement—just ask us in your email.
